Elite Practice of Traditional Japanese Martial Arts
Tarrytown Mixed Martial Arts Center - Mushin-Kai Dojo
MUSHIN KAIKAN DOJO, U.S.A: Elite School of Shorei-Ryu Kenpo-Karate, Kosen-Ryu Aiki-Jujutsu and Yoshinsenkan-Aikido.
The Mushin Kai Dojo, is a traditional martial arts dojo devoted first and foremost to the preservation and perpetuation of three traditional Japanese martial arts styles: Shorei-Ryu Kenpo-Karate, Kosen-Ryu Aiki-Jujutsu and Yoshinsenkan-Aikido.
Our practice is wholistic, meaning that you'll learn spiritual skills, practical skills, tradition and history, while reaping the fitness benefits of a true martial arts practice.
While we teach and encourage students to learn all three styles and we incorporate aspects of each throughout our instruction we believe that it is important to learn each style separately in order to ensure the integrity of each style.
All students are carefully selected and invited to join our ranks. Classes are limited to no more than 10 students and are all taught by three-time 7th Dan Black Belt, Shihan J. Cruz. We welcome practitioners of other martial arts to practice with us and welcome the exchange of ideas and styles.
We are based in Dobbs Ferry, New York and serve students all over Westchester County and the Southern Hudson River Valley. Our students hail from New York City, Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley, Irvington, Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow & beyond.
"Our dojo is our home
Our home is your home."
- Shihan J. Cruz
